Back again today to share a layout for D-lish scraps.
I love working with black and white photos and would have to say my 'go to' colour combo for scrapping them is black, white and baby pink. For today's layout I started with the background sheet of paper. It was a natural progression to pick up the pink of the cute little hearts and I've added grey to soften. I feel it's pretty classic 'Gwen' in design too!
So after my pattern paper choice, I knew I had to use that title. It's not very often I use a bold black title on a page but I feel this one suits it perfectly! I've added lots of D-lish Scraps elements to finish it off including the divine black Tutu Bloom
. Putting it towards the bottom of the page helps balance out the black in the title.
Of course, as usual I have close ups...
How totally adorable are the Resin bows
? I just love these, so sweet and the perfect size too and they come in a wonderful pastel mix.
I've used a Felt Doily
here with a vellum sentiment over the top and stitched together.. loving this look! You can also see just a glimpse of the wooden arrow there too. Lots to choose from here
You can also see Punchinella
here tucked into my paper layers... I love using it on my photo mats, in a subtle way. If you look very closely you will also see a 5X7 Bag
in the middle of my paper stack.
Lucky last I had to show you a close up of these cute Shaped Wooden Buttons
and Resin Flowers
totally adorable. The flair
was the perfect addition in black and white, so versatile.
