Goodbye 2012 and why hello there 2013

Hi Everyone,

A few of my scrappy friends are sharing their favourite layouts from the year (1 per month) and I thought what a fab idea...

I have been very blessed to be a part of 4 design teams this year, Craft Queen, Manor House, Purple Pumpkin and Scrap Friends AND I also did a Guest DT spot for Orange paperie... and these layouts are a cross section of work from them - love them all!!

My first Step x Step for Manor House - before the start of this year I had done very few step x steps, now I've done a bunch!

High on my to do list for 2012 a monochromatic layout... definitely a fav!

This photo does it for me AND I took it! - Love the colours too.  This was for a Scrap friends sketch challenge.

This one has the most divine vintage lace in the background which I love.  Also love the black features.  This was for Manor House.

A layout I created for my Manor House DT application - have scrapped heaps more "me" this year.

For Craft Queen - loved using Collections "boutique" range and this one went 'on tour' with Nicole :)

Also for Craft Queen - I have wanted a photo like this forever so this year I set Chris up to take it!

One of the first layouts for Scrap Friends... Angela has the best sketches eva, (so detailed) I loved featuring washi tape for this one.

Also created for Scrap Friends, this time a colour challenge.

Another one created for Manor House - and another photo I took, I am getting better!

I love how different this one is, full of Purple Pumpkin goodness and that chevron pp is delish!  This is as funky as I get LOL

and last but not least, my creation for Orange Paperie - what a fab bunch of girls!!

Wishing you all a super special New Year, may it bring you all happiness and new adventures.  See you in 2013!

Blossom Rainbow

Hello Hello and good day to you...

The craziness of Christmas is well and truly at my place so sorry if I haven't been blog hopping of late!!! Promise I'll catch up on the holidays :)

Here today for a quick share, a layout for Manor house creations featuring colour... I love colour and when I was given a theme of "Colour and lots of it" the first thing I thought of was a rainbow.  So off I went to emulate a rainbow  in a layout and this is what I came up with...

I am ohh so happy with how this came together - these were all off-cuts from my scraps draw which I then matched with the Manor House flowers :) and the pic Miss Caitlin in the backyard picking the flowers.

thanks for popping by today

Scrap Friends Colour challenge #8

Hi everyone,

Time to share my last Colour challenge for the DT at Scrap Friends and its another stunner....

I really didn't know which of these beautiful colours to choose at first so I kinda went with all of them - I kept the background pink the same as the inspiration and went from there.

So many Scrap Friends yummies!!

Hope you have a chance in all of the craziness of Christmas to give this one a go... I have a feeling we are going to see a lot of different layouts for this one.

Manor House card share

Hi there Everyone,

Lots to share today with a heap of Manor House projects... First up a gift bag and card set ready for the Christmas giving season...

Next up a few general cards I have created.... I always keep a stash on hand ready for almost forgotten birthdays and unplanned events (such as illness etc)...

The new range of Manor house flowers are perfect for card making and not too large; allowing for lots of clusters!!

Be sure to stop by the blog as there is always something inspiring going on.

Scrap Friends Sketch challenge #8

Happy Sunday evening to you all.

Its time again for another fabulous sketch challenge at Scrap Friends... and this one is my last one as part of their DT... :(  I have a Colour challenge and a step x step to do before the new DT takeover - do you have your submission in yet?  Entries close 23rd December and it is an amazing team to be apart of, let me tell you!!  (Details here)

OK, back onto the sketch, here it is... A Christmas inspired sketch although you don't have to do a Christmas layout.

and here is my take; I went with a Christmas theme as I really don't do many Christmas layouts - probably only one per year!!  The thought of a December Daily does my head in!! LOL

Be sure to check out the Guest DT layouts and the regular design team girls their layouts are all FAB!!!

thanks
Gwen
